About the Role
As a Consultant Radiologist at Rotorua Hospital, you will join a small, supportive, and skilled team of consultant radiologists and radiology support staff. We are flexible regarding part-time and flexible working arrangements to accommodate our staff's needs. Our facilities include:
- GE Apex Elite CT and Canon Aquilion Prime CT
- 1.5T Siemens Magnetom Aera MRI
- Siemens Artis Zee C-arm fluoroscopy suite
- GE Logic E10 ultrasound units
We also provide a teleradiology service for overnight on-call duties, with home reporting available for evening shifts. The department is committed to quality assurance, including regular audits, peer reviews, and teaching activities.
About the Team/Service/Location

About You
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- You must be registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) under the vocational scope of practice as an Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist.
- You should either be a Fellow of RANZCR or demonstrate equivalence (such as FRCR), or have completed training in a comparable healthcare system, meeting MCNZ standards as updated on their website.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working with patients in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
