Bakery Assistant - NW Stonefields

About the Role In this role, you will play a vital part in our bakery operations. Your responsibilities will include taking customer orders and serving them efficiently, as well as managing inquiries related to cake orders. You will ensure that our bakery displays are well-stocked and visually appealing. Additional tasks will involve packing and pricing a variety of baked goods, including breads, rolls, cakes, biscuits, and more. You will also prepare cake slices for packaging and assist with mixing and baking various products such as muffins and scones. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bakery is essential, and you will be responsible for cleaning the prover, ovens, chiller, and bakery cases. Additionally, you will monitor and record any wastage, contributing to our commitment to sustainability. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A strong focus on customer service and a desire to excel in your role are important attributes we seek. Flexibility is key, as you will need to be available to work the following roster: - Permanent role: 42.5 hours per week - Sunday to Thursday, from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Please apply only if you can commit to these days and hours.
