We are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders to join our team for multiple roles throughout the Northland region and beyond. About the Role As a Scaffolder with OneStaff, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and effective work platforms on building and industrial sites. Your responsibilities will include dismantling temporary metal scaffolding, selecting and preparing materials, and ensuring all safety measures are in place. Flexibility is important, as you may be required to work across different locations in New Zealand. Key responsibilities include: - Determining job requirements by planning and arranging scaffolding - Selecting and preparing necessary materials for each job - Loading and unloading scaffolding and equipment at the work site - Erecting scaffold structures by lifting and positioning sections and bolting pipes together - Establishing platforms and implementing safety measures - Inspecting and repairing scaffolding to ensure stability and safety - Installing guard rails and safety netting - Maintaining a clean workspace, including equipment and tools - Adhering to health and safety requirements - Performing any other duties as assigned Pay Conditions The hourly pay for this position ranges from a minimum of $29.66 to a maximum of $34.00, depending on your experience. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work each week. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 2.5 years of relevant scaffolding experience or possess a relevant qualification - A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic - Flexibility to work in various locations across New Zealand - A commitment to continuous learning and skill development within the industry - A dedication to maintaining health and safety practices on-site - Reliability and a strong work ethic Location This role may require you to work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
