About the Role We are seeking a part-time Outsourcing Administrator for a fixed term of six months to join our surgical outsourcing programme. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the efficient management of patient records being sent to private healthcare providers. Your responsibilities will include a range of administrative tasks such as: - Invoicing and reconciling patient information - Maintaining accurate data records - Drafting, filing, and mailing correspondence for various team members - Tracking, filing, and processing invoices for different services, including outsourced medical services - Organizing and managing patient notes for outsourced medical services For more details on the position, please refer to the position description. About the Team Our team of five works closely together to support all aspects of planned care, with elective treatment at outsourced facilities being a significant focus. We handle tasks such as data entry, updating patient information, maintaining records, coordinating with booking clerks, tracking patient files, and processing invoices. We pride ourselves on our collaborative spirit and commitment to supporting one another. About Hamilton Waikato Hospital is located in Hamilton, New Zealand, and serves as a major regional and tertiary teaching hospital. With about 722 inpatient beds and 22 operating theatres, we provide comprehensive hospital services, including radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy. Our affiliations with the University of Auckland, University of Waikato, and Wintec offer a dynamic learning environment and numerous research opportunities. Hamilton itself is a vibrant city that beautifully blends nature and culture. About You To thrive in this administrative role, you should possess the following qualities: - Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook - Previous administration experience in a healthcare setting - Ability to learn quickly and adapt to working with various administrative, clinical, and managerial staff - A team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to support and assist colleagues - Previous experience with iPM is an advantage Working at Health New Zealand At Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
