About the Role
We are seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our Community Services team. This is a permanent, part-time role where you will make a meaningful impact in your community.
As a Support Worker, you will collaborate with a wider team to assist our clients in achieving their goals and reaching their potential. You will offer both practical and emotional support, helping them to live independently within their homes and communities. Your responsibilities will vary based on individual care plans and may include:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Medication administration
- Personal care (including showering, toileting, and transfers using a hoist)
- Home management tasks
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess a health and wellbeing qualification, along with one to three years of relevant work experience. Experience in using a hoist is essential.
We value a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help and support others, striving for excellence in all aspects of your work. Excellent communication skills are a must, and most positions require a full New Zealand driver's license and reliable transport.

You can expect to earn between $23.50 and $29.10 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
