About the Role We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Finance and ICT team in Christchurch. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of reconciliation and analytical tasks to deliver quality information regarding our business performance and trends. In this position, you will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with the Commercial Analyst and Inventory Accountant. Your primary responsibility will be to produce our weekly dashboard reporting, which informs business progress and decision-making. Additionally, you will engage with our ERP system (CSB) and other platforms to conduct various reconciliation tasks and analyses focused on inventory control, storage, freight, and Chep movements. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills: - A degree in Accounting or CAANZ, or relevant experience in the field. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines while working across multiple systems and data points. - Experience with ERP and BI systems, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Excel. - Robust skills in high-volume data reconciliation and a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - An approachable demeanor with effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, as well as in presentations. - A practical approach and sound judgment in completing tasks. - A high level of integrity and honesty. - Experience in finance, particularly with exposure to manufacturing and inventory accounting, is desirable.
