Currently, we are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for an ongoing opportunity with a reputable food manufacturing company located in Christchurch. About the Role This position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $26 to $29, along with weekly pay. We have openings for both day and afternoon shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, containers, and storage areas according to operational requirements. Additionally, you will assist with general warehouse duties, such as picking, packing, and stock replenishment, while adhering to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes: - A valid Forklift Operator certification (OSH) is required, and an F endorsement is advantageous. - The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety and accuracy. - Physical fitness, as heavy lifting may be involved. - Flexibility to work extra hours when needed. - A strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
