About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced leader to join our team in a hands-on capacity. This role is tailored for individuals with a solid background in drainage and small civil works. As a leader, you will be responsible for guiding a crew in delivering maintenance and project-based tasks while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.
Your daily responsibilities will include excavating trenches, laying pipes according to project specifications, operating heavy machinery such as excavators, rollers, and loaders, and collaborating with managers and construction teams to achieve project targets. A flexible and positive attitude, along with adaptability, will be key to your success in this role.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- 2 to 5 years of New Zealand-based experience in civil or residential drainage and stormwater systems.
- A Certified Drainlayer ticket with CCC authorization.
- WTR endorsements (preferred but not essential).
- A clean, full New Zealand Class 1 or 2 Driver's Licence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to pass pre-employment checks.
- A team-oriented attitude and a strong work ethic.
