About the Role
We are seeking an Interventions Coordinator to join our team at the Christchurch Women's Prison. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating services that support the rehabilitation, reintegration, and overall wellbeing of individuals in prison.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and organizing the implementation of prisoner interventions.
- Collaborating with Prison Unit staff to coordinate these interventions effectively.
- Assisting prison-based learners in selecting appropriate interventions.
- Coordinating with external service providers and contractors to ensure successful program delivery.
- Acting as a liaison among internal tutors, case managers, and corrections officers.
- Maintaining accurate timetables for programs and interventions.
- Ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.
- Creating purchase orders, processing invoices, and managing budgets.
- Compiling and maintaining registers, reports, and statistics on program participation in a timely manner.
Requirements

Key qualifications include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building abilities to foster positive connections with various stakeholders.
- Effective organizational skills, with the capacity to multitask and meet deadlines while paying attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer software and database systems, particularly the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with purchase ordering and invoicing is advantageous.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is between $65,799 and $72,394 per annum, depending on your skills and experience.
