    About the Company WOK Junior Limited is a newly established restaurant located in Christchurch. We are committed to providing high-quality dining experiences to our customers and are looking for a dedicated professional to help us achieve this goal. About the Role We are seeking a full-time permanent Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of our restaurant operations. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional menu and inspiring our staff to provide outstanding customer service. The position offers guaranteed 30 hours of work per week, with a roster that spans Monday to Sunday. Our hourly pay ranges from $28.00 to $33.00. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of relevant experience in the restaurant industry or hold a Level 4 qualification or higher. We also welcome candidates with equivalent overseas qualifications or occupational certificates. Key responsibilities include: - Coordinating daily restaurant management operations - Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop the menu - Monitoring stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecasting needs, and maintaining inventory - Upholding safety and food quality standards - Managing budgets and implementing cost control methods to minimize expenses - Promoting and marketing the business - Planning and organizing special functions, events, and guest requests - Delivering superior service to maximize customer satisfaction - Hiring, training, and supervising restaurant employees - Organizing and overseeing shifts - Evaluating staff performance and providing feedback to enhance productivity - Ensuring that all employees adhere to operating standards - Enforcing compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations - Processing payroll and maintaining relevant records - Reporting on financial performance, inventory, and personnel matters Candidates must hold a valid New Zealand visa to apply.
