About the Role
We are currently inviting applications for an Interventional Cardiology Fellow position for a full-time, 12-month fixed term, beginning in April 2026. This role offers an exciting opportunity to train in interventional cardiology at a high-volume unit while fulfilling the subspecialty training requirements set by the New Zealand Interventional Cardiology Group, CSANZ.
As a fellow, you will be responsible for the investigation and management of patients undergoing interventional cardiology procedures. Additionally, you will have the chance to participate in our active research program, contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge in this vital field.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Completion of RACP advanced training in general cardiology or an equivalent international qualification.
- Eligibility for general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
