About the Role We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join Kevin Hickman Retirement Village in Christchurch as a Caregiver. We currently have a part-time position available for Friday and Saturday from 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM in our Special Care (Dementia) Unit. In this role, you will have the chance to develop meaningful relationships with our residents and their families. You will follow individual care plans, providing the quality of care that you would expect for your own loved ones. You will utilize the latest technology, including our purpose-built care app, myRyman, and work collaboratively with your colleagues to foster a positive team environment. About You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment, we are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities: - Kindness at the core of your being - Strong empathy for others - Outstanding communication skills - A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor While experience in aged care is preferred, it is not essential.
