About the Role We are seeking Kitchen Hands to join our team of casual staff in the South Auckland areas, including Papakura, Takanini, Pukekohe, and Clevedon. This role offers the opportunity to explore various locations with flexible hours. You will have the freedom to choose when and where you work, ensuring that your job fits around your other commitments. As a Kitchen Hand, your responsibilities will include: - Working in kitchens at rest homes, hospitals, or retirement villages - Taking meal orders and assisting in meal preparation - Setting and clearing tables, as well as serving meals to residents - Cleaning the kitchen, operating the dishwasher, and managing cooking dishes Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: - Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen, preferably in hospitality or aged care - A Food Safety Certificate, which would be advantageous - Strong time management, customer service, and communication skills - Access to reliable transport to travel to our clients' facilities - A commitment to reliability and teamwork - Excellent food hygiene standards and personal hygiene A bit about working for us Our mobile app allows you to update your availability, making it easy to communicate when you are free to work.
