About the Role We are currently seeking Kitchen Hands to join our team of casual staff on Auckland's North Shore, specifically in Albany, Glenfield, Red Beach, and the Hibiscus Coast. This role offers flexible working hours, allowing you to manage your commitments while choosing when and where you work. In this position, you will be responsible for: - Working in kitchens at rest homes, hospitals, and retirement villages - Taking meal orders and assisting with meal preparation - Setting and clearing tables, as well as serving meals to residents - Cleaning the kitchen, operating the dishwasher, and managing cooking dishes Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen, preferably in hospitality or aged care - A Food Safety Certificate is advantageous - Strong time management, customer service, and communication skills - Access to reliable transportation to travel to our clients' facilities - Reliability, motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a team - Excellent food hygiene skills and a commitment to personal hygiene A Bit About Working for Us As a member of our team, you will have the ability to update your availability through our mobile app, allowing us to send you shift offers that align with your preferences and skill set.
