About the Role We are currently seeking Kitchen Hands to join our team of casual staff in East Auckland, specifically in the areas of Pakuranga, Beachlands, Botany Downs, and Clevedon. This role offers the flexibility to work around your other commitments, allowing you to choose when and where you work. In this position, you will: - Work in kitchens within rest homes, hospitals, and retirement villages - Take meal orders and assist in meal preparation - Set and clear tables while serving meals to residents - Maintain a clean kitchen by running the dishwasher and cleaning cooking dishes Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: - Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen, preferably in hospitality or aged care - A Food Safety Certificate (this is advantageous) - Strong time management, customer service, and communication skills - Access to reliable transport for traveling to our clients' facilities - Reliability, motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment - Excellent food hygiene practices and personal hygiene standards A bit about working for us Our mobile app allows you to update your availability, check your roster, view payslips, accept or decline shift offers, and communicate with our team.
