About the Role We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at the Manukau village. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality dining experiences for our residents and visitors. We have recently implemented a new food strategy aimed at enhancing the overall dining experience, and we are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in contributing to this initiative. This is a permanent part-time position, with scheduled hours on Wednesdays from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Your responsibilities will include: - Adhering to the Food Control Plan to ensure all tasks are completed as required - Cleaning all kitchen surfaces, including washing dishes and removing waste - Assisting the chef with unloading and organizing stock - Supporting the chef with food preparation tasks About You We are looking for an outgoing and friendly individual with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
