Our client is a family-run business specializing in quarrying and subdivision projects, employing approximately 100 dedicated staff members. They pride themselves on their collaborative work environment and are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Office Administrator to serve as the first point of contact in their office.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including:
- Reception duties: greeting visitors and answering phone calls and emails.
- General administrative tasks to support daily operations.
- Management of creditors and accounts payable.
- Filing and document organization.
This is a self-managed position, ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work and ensures that daily operations run smoothly.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
- Strong initiative and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Excel and email systems (our main server is Nimbis).
- Knowledge of accounts is a plus.
- Professional and tidy presentation, with a smart casual dress code.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- A self-starter mentality, utilizing initiative and intuition.
- Confidence and comfort in leading conversations.
