About the Role
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Oral Health Service, which provides integrated hospital, community, and child and adolescent oral healthcare to the Northland population. This position is based in Whangarei and will require regular travel to rural hospitals and community clinics throughout the region.
Our dentists play a vital role in delivering treatment beyond the scope of practice for Dental/Oral Health Therapists. You will assist with patients under sedation and general anaesthesia, as well as those who are medically compromised, eligible pre-schoolers, students, adolescents, and adults. Ideal candidates will hold a postgraduate qualification or have a keen interest in public oral health.

About You
To be eligible for this position, you must have or be able to obtain specialist and/or general dentistry registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ). If you are currently overseas and not yet registered, we are happy to assist you with the application process for DCNZ registration.
