We are looking for a passionate and driven Duty Manager to join our team and play a vital role from the very beginning. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our bustling supermarket. If you excel in a fast-paced retail environment and have a knack for leading teams to provide outstanding customer service, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will manage store operations during your assigned shifts, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will supervise and support team members across various departments, addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner. Additionally, you will monitor stock levels, merchandising, and store presentation to maintain a high standard. Compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company policies will be a key focus, along with the responsibility of closing the store when required. What We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in supermarket or retail management. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and customer service abilities. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings (with a typical finish time of 10:30 PM), is required.
