About the Role
We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team at the Hynds Hornby Branch. In this role, you will provide outstanding sales support, uphold branch performance standards, and ensure smooth operational processes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, solving problems, and maintaining efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering top-notch sales support to all branch customers, ensuring that every interaction aligns with Hynds' service standards. This includes managing customer orders from initiation to completion using our M3 systems and adhering to established processes.
Building and nurturing strong relationships with customers, internal sales teams, and procurement teams will be a key part of your role. You will also handle cash and trade sales, process banking and credits, and monitor debtor accounts. Operating forklifts to safely move, load, and unload products will be required, along with maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and compliance in all work areas.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a customer-focused professional who possesses excellent sales and service skills. You should have strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. A proactive team player who takes ownership of their work is essential.
Candidates should hold a full New Zealand Driver's License (Class 1) and have an F endorsement or be willing to obtain one. Experience in warehouse, sales, or operations roles is advantageous. Additionally, the ability to lift and move products weighing up to 20 kg is required.
