About the Role We are currently seeking full-time Waterproofers to join our team, with roles available in various regions throughout New Zealand. This position offers a chance to work on residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects that are in high demand. We are looking for reliable and skilled professionals who have experience working with different waterproofing systems and materials. These full-time, permanent roles will be assigned based on project requirements and are ideal for experienced waterproofers who are open to relocating or traveling as necessary. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for applying waterproofing membranes and protective coatings to various structures, including foundations, basements, balconies, and roofs. You will be expected to interpret job specifications and safety requirements, operate hand and power tools specific to waterproofing tasks, and adhere to building code standards and health and safety guidelines. Additionally, you will need to work effectively across different job sites and environments to ensure project success. Skills and Experience Required To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in waterproofing or a relevant occupation. Familiarity with torch-on membranes, liquid systems, and sealants is essential, and a trade qualification or NZQA-recognized experience is preferred. We are looking for individuals who can work independently, travel between job sites, and possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work. Nationwide Opportunity and Travel While this role is listed in Canterbury, we are actively recruiting for positions that will be deployed across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project needs. These regions include: North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington.
