About the Company We are a vibrant and busy restaurant, known for our dynamic atmosphere and diverse cuisine. Our operational hours are from 11 AM to 5 AM the following day, six days a week. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences and are looking for a dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team. About the Role As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with chefs to plan menus and implement changes in our cuisine, ensuring regular consultations and research to keep our offerings fresh and exciting. - Organizing and planning functions, ensuring each event is executed flawlessly. - Managing the purchasing and pricing of goods while adhering to the budget. - Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions to support effective inventory management. - Ensuring that dining facilities meet health regulations and maintain cleanliness, functionality, and an appealing appearance. - Engaging with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service, addressing any concerns promptly. - Selecting, training, and supervising both waiting and kitchen staff to create a cohesive and efficient team. - Assisting in taking orders as needed to support the front-of-house operations. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess either a qualification at NZQF Diploma level or higher, or have at least three years of relevant work experience in the restaurant industry. Your leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring our restaurant continues to thrive.
