About the Role We are currently seeking compassionate and resilient Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work flexible shifts in disability and community settings, allowing you to choose when and where you work. Our internal scheduling system enables you to communicate your availability and preferences, ensuring that you can find shifts that suit your lifestyle. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to residents, utilizing your specialized skills to manage challenging behaviors effectively. Requirements To be successful in this role, we prefer candidates who meet the following criteria: - A minimum of six months of experience as a support worker, particularly with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviors. - A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to care. - Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and positive behavior support strategies. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team. - A reliable and responsible work ethic. - NZQA qualification in Health and Well-being Level 2, 3, or 4 (or equivalent). - A current First Aid Certificate is desirable. Our payment options are flexible; you can choose between weekly or daily pay, with our Daily Pay option allowing you to receive your earnings the day after you work.
