About the Role
We are currently seeking a Vehicle Testing Officer with COF A certification to join our professional team. In this permanent, full-time position, you will play a vital role in ensuring vehicle safety and compliance.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting Warrant of Fitness (WOF) and Certificate of Fitness (COF) inspections in accordance with AA and NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) standards. You will produce accurate verbal and written reports on vehicle inspections and provide exceptional customer service along with professional advice. Additionally, you will promote relevant AA services and products that meet customer needs while contributing to team targets and maintaining a safe, tidy, and compliant workspace.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of WOF certification is required; COF A certification is desirable.
- A solid understanding of vehicle systems, including suspension, brakes, safety equipment, and lighting.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude.
- A full New Zealand Driver Licence.
