About the Role
As a Class 1 Tipper Driver, you will play a vital role in our operations by handling tipper runs for local and small deliveries to our trade customers. Your commitment to delivering exceptional service will be essential as you interact with customers both in the field and at our branch. In addition to driving, you will support our timber yard operations by operating a forklift to load and unload orders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating a tipper truck to ensure timely deliveries to customers.
- Providing outstanding service to our customers, whether you are on the road or back at the branch.
- Collaborating effectively with the Branch Despatch Coordinator, Inventory, and Customer Service staff to support our logistics and dispatch network.
- Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety in all aspects of your work.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and possesses the following skills and qualities:
- A hands-on individual who enjoys being actively involved in branch operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Physically fit, capable of handling occasional heavy lifting and manual tasks.
- Valid Class 1 or 2 driving license and forklift license are essential.
- A solid understanding of safety practices at all times.
