About the Role We are currently seeking two hardworking Class 4 Truck Drivers to join our team. This role is suited for individuals who are ready to face challenges and have a strong background in driving. Experience in the transport industry is highly valued. As a Class 4 Truck Driver, you will be responsible for maneuvering vehicles into position for loading and unloading. You may also be required to drive late at night to meet client needs and facilitate deliveries. Your duties will include loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices, ensuring freight is handled effectively, timely, and safely. You will be expected to participate in all safety procedures, maintain clean and tidy vehicles, and adhere to safety measures during loading and unloading. Regular checks on vehicle quality to ensure safe driving will also be part of your responsibilities. It is essential to estimate weight to comply with load limitations and ensure safe weight distribution within the vehicle. Additionally, you will verify loading documents, check the condition of goods, and obtain delivery certifications. Confident reversal of vehicles in tight spaces while providing professional service upon delivery is crucial. Requirements - Must meet all other requirements, including English language proficiency as per Immigration New Zealand, if applicable. Preference will be given to multilingual candidates. - A full Driver’s License with relevant driving endorsements is required. - Willingness to travel and flexibility to work rostered hours, including weekends. - Ability to perform heavy lifting and maintain physical fitness; a pre-employment medical and drug test will be part of the recruitment process. - Experience in a related field is appreciated.
