About the Role We are looking for two dedicated drivers to join our team. This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of at least 35 hours per week. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - A Full Class 1 Driver's License or equivalent - A motivated and can-do attitude - A supportive and respectful demeanor - Comfort with completing log books and paperwork, with a willingness to assist in various tasks as necessary (training will be provided) Additionally, we are looking for individuals who are physically fit, reliable, hardworking, and have a stable work history. Team players who are enthusiastic about their work will thrive in our environment. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Checking the condition of the load and ensuring it is secure - Confirming that the contents of each shipment match the manifest - Following a predetermined route to ensure timely transport and delivery - Communicating with dispatch as required - Performing vehicle inspections before and after each trip - Monitoring weather conditions and road reports before departure - Maintaining a clean vehicle and servicing it as needed (refueling, oil changes, tire pressure checks, repairs, etc.) - Notifying management of any major maintenance or delivery issues - Adhering to the delivery schedule and resting at appropriate times - Keeping detailed driving and delivery logs - Tracking and reporting working hours - Following all company rules and regulations - Complying with applicable traffic laws and adapting driving to weather and road conditions - Prioritizing safety at all times - Loading and unloading goods while following correct safety procedures - Keeping records of and checking invoices for goods carried If you are reliable, outgoing, self-motivated, and take pride in your work, we encourage you to apply.
