About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cafe Manager to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily cafe operations and ensuring efficient service. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week, and you will be required to work according to the roster, which includes weekends. Therefore, availability to work during weekends is essential. Your responsibilities will include developing menus in consultation with our chefs and kitchen staff, planning, organizing, and promoting special functions and events. You will also manage purchasing, pricing, and stock levels in line with our budget and maintain records of financial transactions while controlling costs. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations is crucial, as is monitoring customer satisfaction and addressing feedback promptly. Additionally, you will be involved in recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising both front and back-of-house staff. Greeting guests, taking reservations, and assisting with orders as needed will also be part of your duties. Requirements To be considered for this role, we prefer candidates who have at least three years of relevant experience or hold a relevant Level 4 Qualification. Candidates must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and provide references from previous employers.
