ConsultANZ is currently seeking a Commercial Manager to join one of New Zealand’s major civil infrastructure projects. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality results and are looking for an individual who can bring strong leadership and commercial expertise to our high-performing delivery team.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the commercial operations of the project. Your key duties will include:
- Leading all contract administration and financial controls.
- Managing monthly claims, subcontractor payments, and cost forecasting.
- Delivering detailed financial reports to senior management.
- Driving effective use of project commercial software tools.
- Mentoring and managing commercial support staff.
Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring the success of the project, and you will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
- Over 15 years of experience in delivering large-scale civil projects.
- In-depth knowledge of NZS3910:2023 and claims management.
- Strong skills in subcontractor procurement, commercial software, and monthly reporting.
