About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Analyst to join our finance team in Christchurch for a fixed term of 12 months. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between data and strategy by delivering actionable insights that inform decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Data and Insights, and Sales, to provide the financial support necessary for driving Ryman's growth and achieving strategic objectives for our Sales teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing timely and accurate sales information and analysis to support effective sales management, oversight, and strategic decision-making.
- Developing robust sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and strategic objectives.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of the budgeting and forecasting processes for sales operations.
- Producing monthly sales reports and performance insights, comparing against budget and previous periods to identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintaining and reporting on customer databases, contracts, and sales performance metrics.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be CA qualified with 3 or more years of commercial or public practice experience. You should possess a passion for growth, critical thinking skills, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced financial environment. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, along with a solid understanding of accounting and cash flow principles, are essential.
Additional qualifications include:
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build valuable relationships, both internally and externally.
- Experience with Greentree, PowerBI, and IBM Planning & Analytics software is preferred.
