Your ability to use initiative will be essential, as you will need to recognize when she needs quiet time or when to engage her in activities, outings, domestic chores, and other opportunities for growth and development.
Building a trusting relationship with her is crucial, and your patient and engaging demeanor will help facilitate this bond. Additionally, you may also support other residents with their everyday activities, which may include shopping, meal preparation, household chores, personal support, and community outings.

- NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or equivalent
- A positive attitude toward supporting individuals with learning disabilities
- A full New Zealand driver’s license

Benefits
We offer a range of benefits to support your professional development. If you have not yet completed the NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 and 3, we will assist you in achieving these qualifications.
You will receive paid time off to complete your fully funded First Aid certificate, as well as training in Safe Manual Handling, Falls Prevention, and Dysphagia. Our Employee Assistance Programme provides free access to counseling, financial guidance, planning, and career direction. Additionally, you will have access to discounts at over 40 locations.
If you share our passion for disability support and are dedicated to making a positive impact in people's lives, we encourage you to apply. Applications will be processed promptly, so don’t hesitate to join our team.
