About the Role
We are currently seeking a Casual Programme Assistant to support our sKids Titahi location. In this role, you will supervise and assist children in various program activities. It is essential to maintain a clean, tidy, hygienic, and safe working environment for all children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times.
You will assist the Programme Manager with the daily schedule and responsibilities as outlined in the task list. Additionally, you will report any concerns regarding a child or behavioral issues to the Programme Manager.
As a Casual Programme Assistant, your work schedule will be determined based on needs, typically during the weekdays. The majority of your shifts will take place in the after-school program, which runs from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. There may also be opportunities to work in the before-school program, which operates from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, if required. The work location will be at Titahi Bay School.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A valid visa to work in New Zealand without restrictions
- Reliable transportation to commute to the work site
- A keen interest in working in similar industries
- Previous experience working with children, whether through babysitting or volunteer work
