    About the Company sKids was established in 1996 by two parents who aimed to provide a structured out-of-school care service for primary-aged children. Today, we are proud to be New Zealand’s preferred destination for children, welcoming over 3,800 tamariki each day across more than 170 school sites. At sKids, we believe in creating a fun and engaging environment, allowing our team to connect with their inner child. Our activities include day trips, cooking, arts and crafts, science projects, sports, and much more. About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to oversee the setup and daily operations of the sKids Programme, while nurturing strong relationships within our school communities. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering the development of "AWESOME kiwi kids." Your responsibilities will include providing daily supervisory care and ensuring effective programme delivery. You will manage communications with parents and schools, oversee daily administrative tasks, and lead your team members. This position requires a commitment of 15 or more hours per week, scheduled during our before and after school programmes. There may also be opportunities to work during school holiday programmes. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with before school shifts from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM and after school shifts from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. This role is based at Marshall Laing School in Mt Roskill, Auckland. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess a strong passion for working with children aged 5-12 and who are committed to inspiring their confidence and authenticity. Ideal candidates will have: - Previous experience working with children or in the childcare/education sector. - Experience in organizing before and after school programmes, which is highly beneficial. - Excellent communication skills, as you will serve as the primary liaison between sKids and the parents. - A valid New Zealand work or student visa, or be a New Zealand resident or citizen. Please note that to comply with the Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004, only applicants over the age of 20 years can be considered for this role.
