About the Company
At Odyssey House Christchurch, we have dedicated over 35 years to enhancing the wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities affected by drug and alcohol addiction, mental health challenges, and related issues. Based in Burnside, we operate from a busy site where residents engage in drug and alcohol treatment, and clients visit throughout the day. Our team is committed to supporting these individuals and fostering a collaborative environment.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a part-time capacity, working 15 hours per week across Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Reporting to our Finance and Admin Manager, you will play a vital role in managing client records and contributing to various administrative functions within our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Administering records in our client database, ensuring that entry and exit records align with the standards of our diverse services.
- Preparing and analyzing reports generated from the client database.
- Responding to staff inquiries regarding the client database.
- Managing a significant volume of confidential information.
- Collaborating with the general admin team to support overall team activities.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- A minimum of three years of experience in data entry and report compilation.
- Experience working in a criminal justice or health setting.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in your work.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of individuals.
- A full driver's license to facilitate work at prison sites on a weekly basis.
