About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate caregivers who are looking for flexible and casual work opportunities in Tauranga. This role offers the flexibility to fit around your lifestyle and commitments, with available shifts for both weekdays and weekends, including mornings and evenings.
Many of our clients require additional support on weekends, ranging from companionship to palliative care, providing a variety of shifts for you to choose from. Our shifts typically last a minimum of three hours, but often extend longer. We understand the importance of maintaining a work-life balance, and we can offer flexible weekend hours to accommodate your personal needs.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must hold a full, current driver’s license and have experience with personal care. Our agency provides an after-hours service seven days a week, ensuring that you have access to a dedicated coordinator for assistance when working on weekends.
We are looking for candidates who have experience in the following areas:
- Companionship and home help, including light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Personal care, such as showering, dressing, and grooming
- Dementia care
- Palliative care
Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Recent caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
- A clean full New Zealand driver’s license and access to your own vehicle
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand (must have a valid working visa)
- A clear background and criminal check
