About the Role
We are currently seeking Level 2, 3, or 4 NZQA Health and Wellbeing support workers who possess a strong understanding of complex support needs. This role requires a patient, empathetic individual who can navigate the challenges of difficult behaviors, particularly during tough days.
As a support worker with us, you will collaborate closely with our care team while providing high-quality assistance to clients, including children. We value open communication and teamwork, and we are looking for someone who is well-spoken, positive, and committed to making a difference.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Availability for morning, late afternoon, and evening shifts
- A strong understanding of and experience with challenging behaviors
- Experience working with children
- Good comprehension of directions and the ability to follow tasks accurately
- Consistent and long-term availability to ensure continuity of care for our clients
- A current, clean full driver's license
- A minimum of Level 2 Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent)
- The legal right to work in New Zealand
- Previous experience as a caregiver or support worker with similar clients
- Reliability, punctuality, honesty, and a caring nature
