About the Role
We are expanding our team of caregivers in Tauranga to accommodate a growing number of clients and shifts. We are seeking experienced caregivers who are available immediately for both weekday and weekend shifts, including mornings and evenings. Many of our clients require additional support on weekends, ranging from companionship to palliative care, so there is a variety of shifts available.
Our shifts typically have a minimum duration of three hours, but often extend longer. We understand the importance of flexibility, and we strive to create schedules that allow you to balance your commitments while continuing to pursue the activities that matter to you.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must hold a full, current driver’s license and have experience in providing personal care. Our agency operates an after-hours service seven days a week, ensuring that if you are working on a weekend, you have access to support from a dedicated coordinator.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the following areas:
- Companionship and home help, including light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Personal care, such as showering, dressing, and grooming
- Dementia care
- Palliative care
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Recent experience in caregiving or healthcare
- A clean, full New Zealand driver’s license and access to your own vehicle
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand (you must already possess a valid working visa)
- A clear background and criminal check
