About the Role We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers in the Hamilton region to help us meet the growing demands for in-home care. Our services range from companionship to palliative care, which means we offer a variety of shifts to suit different needs. Each caregiver shift has a minimum duration of 3 hours, with opportunities for longer shifts available. While we cannot guarantee specific hours due to the flexibility we offer our clients, we understand the importance of accommodating your lifestyle and commitments. This means you have the freedom to choose the days that work best for you, allowing you to continue engaging in the activities that matter most to you. Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: - Hold a full, current New Zealand driver’s license and have access to your own vehicle. - Have prior experience in personal care. - Be comfortable providing companionship and home-help, which may include light housework and meal preparation. - Have experience in personal cares such as showering, dressing, and grooming. - Possess knowledge or experience in dementia care and palliative care. In addition, candidates should have: - Recent caregiving or healthcare experience preferred. - Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. - The legal right to work in New Zealand (a valid working visa is required). - A clear background check and criminal record.
