Our goal is to help the individuals we support maintain their active participation in daily living, both at home and within the community.
Key Responsibilities

- Observing and responding to health concerns, promoting overall health and wellbeing.
- Assisting rangitahi in working toward their goals and improving outcomes.
- Tailoring support to meet the unique needs and objectives of each family, using a holistic approach.
- Providing simple, flexible support that can easily enhance the family's quality of life.
Requirements

- A genuine passion for helping others, characterized by kindness and understanding.
- A desire to support rangitahi or young people in acquiring new skills and achieving their goals.
- Previous experience working with young individuals is preferred.
- A full driver’s license and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.
- Initiative to motivate individuals toward their goals, along with an energetic and outgoing personality.
- The ability to think creatively and respect diverse perspectives and lifestyles.
- Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness, as our clients come from varied backgrounds with unique needs.
Benefits
By joining our team, you will receive:
- Competitive pay rates ranging from $23.50 to $29.10 per hour.
- Opportunities to earn while you learn, including free training towards NZQA Health and Wellbeing qualifications.
- Job security with employee benefits such as a work phone, sick and annual leave.
- A referral bonus for bringing a friend on board.
- Discounts with PB Tech for online shopping.
