About the Role
We are currently seeking full-time Aluminum Fabricators to join our team and contribute to projects throughout New Zealand. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of construction and fabrication sites, with locations determined by project requirements. This position is ideal for experienced fabricators who are open to relocating or traveling as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
As an Aluminum Fabricator, your main responsibilities will include:
- Fabricating, assembling, and installing aluminum components and structures
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and blueprints
- Operating hand and power tools pertinent to aluminum fabrication
- Ensuring all work adheres to health, safety, and quality standards
- Working across different sites as required by project deployment
Skills and Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in aluminum fabrication or a related role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in welding, cutting, and shaping aluminum materials
- A trade qualification or NZQA-recognized experience is preferred
- Capacity to work independently and travel between job sites
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is listed in Canterbury, we are actively recruiting for positions across all regions of New Zealand based on project needs. The regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
