About the Role
We are currently seeking two Production Technicians on fixed-term contracts to support our team during parental leave. As a Production Technician at AROA, you will play a vital role in preparing and packaging our leading wound care devices. You will be responsible for ensuring the final construction, packing, and quality control of our products before they are shipped to customers. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of what we deliver to our patients, ensuring it meets AROA's high standards.
This position involves rotating shifts, including morning, day, and afternoon schedules from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work. Flexibility to work across different shifts is essential, but you will be informed well in advance of any changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing and production activities for AROA's medical devices in accordance with good distribution and manufacturing practices (GMP and GDP).
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Complete and review batch records and logs as required.
- Maintain up-to-date training records.
- Proactively participate in all Health & Safety initiatives, including improvements and engagement activities.
Requirements
We will provide you with all the necessary training to succeed in this role. What we ask for is a positive mindset, a willingness to learn, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Some areas of the facility may require a reasonable level of physical fitness as you will need to lift up to 20 kg and perform certain tasks while standing for parts of your day.
Additional beneficial skills and experiences include:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or operational experience in a similar GMP-regulated role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
