Process Worker - Morning Shifts

About the Role We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic process operators to join our team at our Wiri factory. The ideal candidates will have experience in food manufacturing and a solid understanding of HACCP food safety principles. This role requires physical fitness, as it involves manual handling and standing for extended periods. Key Responsibilities - Operate production equipment efficiently while maintaining speed and accuracy. - Ensure product quality meets established standards through attention to detail. - Maintain a good level of fitness to stand for the duration of shifts and lift heavy objects using correct techniques. - Adhere to food safety requirements throughout the handling of products and the cleaning of equipment, machinery, and work areas. - Work in a cold environment on the production floor. - Work a minimum of 9-hour shifts, with overtime available after 45 hours. Requirements - Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Flexibility to work shifts, including potential overtime during busy seasons. - Reliable transport is essential, as public transport options are unavailable during work hours. - Candidates must be legally eligible to work in New Zealand. - Pre-employment drug testing is mandatory for all prospective candidates.
