We are currently seeking a dedicated Factory Worker on behalf of our client, a prominent organization located in Auckland. Our client is looking to enhance their busy warehouse operations with reliable and hardworking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Factory Worker, your primary responsibilities will include operating and maintaining production equipment, assembling and inspecting machinery parts, and identifying and reporting any faults or risks in equipment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining stock levels, communicating any shortages, and ensuring that the workspace remains clean and hazard-free.
You will be expected to follow all safety and quality procedures, meet production targets and shift deadlines, and manually load and unload materials as required. Additionally, you will prepare products for timely dispatch and adhere to manufacturing manuals and company standards.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a factory, production, or warehouse role
- A solid understanding of how machinery and production lines operate
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items
- A strong focus on safety and adherence to procedures
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
