We are currently partnering with a client who is looking for dedicated Class 2 and Class 4 drivers to join their team in Christchurch. This role focuses on hydro excavation and drain clearing, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skill set and explore potential permanent positions in the future.
About the Role
In this ongoing position, you will be responsible for using high-pressure water blasters to excavate around buried services, as well as performing drain clearing, sump clearing, and emptying water treatment plants, silos, and tanks. The nature of the work requires a willingness to labor in wet and dirty conditions, and the hours can be long. We value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic, as these qualities will contribute to your success in this role.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
- Hold a minimum Class 2 WTR license; having a Class 4 license is advantageous
- Be willing to complete a criminal conviction history check
- Possess proven civil driving experience, verified by two referees
- Demonstrate the ability to work in dirty and wet conditions
