Grove Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield is a large, bustling store located in the Wairau Valley, the commercial hub of the North Shore. We are known for our exceptional service, support, and advice, attracting customers from across the Shore and beyond. About the Role Our Timber Yard team is seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and is ready for a rewarding challenge. In this role, you will collaborate with our Trade and Dispatch teams to assist both Trade and DIY customers, providing them with helpful and accurate advice to ensure they have everything they need for their projects. Candidates should be physically fit, as the role involves lifting timber and other materials and being on your feet throughout the day. The successful applicant will work five days a week (40 hours), including one weekend day. Your efforts will directly impact sales, and building long-term, trust-based relationships with our customers will be a key part of your responsibilities. About You We are looking for someone who exhibits drive and energy, determined to get the job done right. While previous customer service experience and knowledge of building and timber would be advantageous, it is your strong personal values that align with ours that will truly contribute to your success at Mitre 10. A full, clean New Zealand driver’s license is essential for this position, and current F endorsed forklift certification is beneficial. If you possess a full license and are eager to learn, we are happy to provide forklift license training. A mature outlook, computer literacy, and a strong customer service attitude will make you an ideal fit for our team.
