    About the Company Pathways is a prominent national provider of community-based mental health, addiction, and well-being services in Aotearoa. For over 30 years, we have been dedicated to transforming the landscape of mental health and addiction support through our Pathways (adult) and Real (youth) services. Each year, we support approximately 6,000 individuals, making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. About the Role We are currently seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Tauranga. This permanent position involves working on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. In this role, you will support individuals in a mental health respite setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation, daily living tasks, and ensuring the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness of those we serve. We value collaboration and community, and we are looking for someone who possesses strong interpersonal skills and can work both independently and as part of a team. You will engage with individuals in activities such as budgeting, attending appointments, advocating for their needs, and helping them connect with their communities. Flexibility and a willingness to assist with various tasks, including cleaning, cooking, gardening, and personal care, are essential. Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications: - Hold a Level 4 in Mental Health and Wellbeing Certificate, or have qualifications in Psychology, Education, Sport, or Nutrition (preferred). - Possess a current full New Zealand driver's license. - Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one. - Demonstrate knowledge of and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
