    About the Company Pathways is a prominent national provider of community-based mental health, addiction, and well-being services in Aotearoa. Our mission is to transform the landscape of mental health and addictions through our Pathways (adult) and Real (youth) services. For over 30 years, we have been dedicated to supporting approximately 6,000 individuals each year. About the Role We are currently seeking a Support Worker for a part-time position, requiring 24 hours of work per fortnight, specifically on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays in Tauranga. In this role, you will support individuals in a mental health respite setting, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting individuals with budgeting and daily living skills - Attending appointments and advocating for those we support - Helping individuals connect with their communities - Performing various tasks as needed, including cleaning, cooking, gardening, personal care, and supporting everyday activities Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria: - Hold a Level 4 in Mental Health and Wellbeing Certificate, or qualifications in Psychology, Education, Sport, or Nutrition (preferred) - Possess a current full New Zealand driver's license - Have a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one - Demonstrate knowledge of and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi Benefits We value our employees and offer a range of benefits, including: - Competitive pay rates ranging from $23.38 to $29.10 per hour, depending on qualifications - Increased Kiwisaver contributions - A fifth week of annual leave after 12 months of employment - Two paid Wellbeing Days each year - A HealthNow Payment Card providing $250 annually to support your well-being and that of your whānau - Access to the Perk & Perk Plus discount app - Holiday program assistance - An income continuance plan - Wise Group House, Contents, and car insurance plans - Discounts at Specsavers and with Southern Cross - A financial risk and planning review - An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Closing Date The closing date for applications is June 12, 2025.
