    About the Company We are dedicated to supporting individuals in achieving their personal and academic goals. Our current focus is on assisting a courageous young woman as she pursues her studies at the University of Otago. We believe in empowering our clients to build independence and actively engage with their community. About the Role We are currently seeking staff for weekend sleepover shifts and casual work to provide essential support to our client. This role is centered around the University campus and involves offering 24/7 care, which includes hoisting and personal care needs, as well as sleepover shifts where you will have your own room to rest. In this position, you will help facilitate our client's engagement in community activities and encourage her to explore her interests. This may involve accompanying her on bus trips around the city, trying out local dining options, or participating in creative endeavors. You will work as part of a team of dedicated young women who share the common goal of enabling our client to achieve her aspirations. Requirements We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications: - A background in support work, such as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, or Community Facilitator. - Enrollment in a relevant course at the University of Otago or Te Pukenga Dunedin Campus, focusing on fields such as medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, or occupational therapy. - A genuine desire to support the independence of a young woman, even if you may need some guidance in developing practical skills for the role. Candidates must be physically able to perform hoisting tasks. While relevant experience or qualifications are preferred, we are also open to applicants who demonstrate the right attitude and a commitment to making a positive impact in our client's life.
