About the Role
Are you looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? We are seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our various services, including Community and Rehabilitation, as well as Social Services. Whether you prefer flexible hours to accommodate other commitments or are looking for consistent rostered shifts, we offer a range of permanent, full-time, and part-time positions to suit your needs.
We are particularly interested in Community Support Workers who can work on weekdays and alternate weekends from 8 am to 8 pm and are willing to travel.
What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team that assists clients in living independently within their homes and communities. Your role will involve helping clients achieve their goals and reach their potential through both practical and emotional support.
Your responsibilities may vary, and you will follow a care plan that could include some or all of the following tasks:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Medication administration
- Personal care (such as showering and toileting)
- Home management

Compensation for this position ranges from $23.50 to $29.10 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.

We are looking for individuals with:
- A genuine desire to help and support others, striving for excellence in all tasks
- Previous healthcare or caregiving experience (though this is not required)
- Excellent communication skills
- A full or restricted NZ driver's license and reliable transportation
