Youth Support Workers – Dunedin/Ōtepoti
Exciting New Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities
We offer meaningful and rewarding work within a supportive and inclusive team. Our hourly rate can go up to $29.10, depending on qualifications, and we provide ongoing training and development opportunities. We believe in working together to enable great lives – Mā te mahi tahi kia pai ai te oranga.
About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who want to make a positive impact on the lives of tamariki and rangatahi in our residential and community services.
The young people we support may face significant challenges in their lives, which sometimes necessitates a trauma-informed approach. As a Youth Support Worker, you will serve as a role model and mentor, assisting youth in building self-esteem, resilience, and confidence, while also encouraging them to engage in meaningful opportunities within their community.
This role presents a unique chance to make a substantial difference in shaping a young person's life, supporting their emotional and social development, and guiding them through the complexities of adolescence. Our Support Workers embody the values of Community Care Trust – Respect (Whakaute), Reliability (Pono), Transparency (Puataata), and Responsiveness (Whakautu).
